Full-Time Spa Reception
Perform spa reception duties, which include making spa reservations, answering guest’s inquiries, answering telephone calls, closing day end sales and uploading data into Spa Software.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Warmly greet every guest who walks into the COMO Shambhala Retreat Spa and offer assistance. Address guests by name whenever possible.
Answer telephone inquiries in appropriate manner by following the standard telephone procedures.
Reply emails, phone calls and faxes within 24 hours.
Handle spa reservations efficiently, by confirming appointment with guests, provide guests with an appointment list and highlight cancellation policies to guests.
Offer appropriate advice on treatments selection.
Assist therapists in their booking schedules and confirming treatment times ahead.
Check in/out guest in accordance to required COMO standard.
Conduct spa tour for visitors and provide accurate and relevant information during tour.
Close sale at the end of the day and submit report to Front Office.
Update guests’ data & profile into spa software.
Monitor locker keys issuance to ensure that keys are returned to reception and that there are always sufficient lockers available.
Offer assistance to guests who are interested in purchasing spa products.
Be informative about retail product to help promote sales.
Keep front desk counter tidy and appropriate material at display.
Check, price and store new stock that arrive.
Carry out month end stock count with supervisor.
Spa coordinator is also responsible for the spa retail outlet sale and its inventory.
All other duties as required by Management.
Prior High End Spa Experience highly preferred, preferably in a hotel setting
At least 1 year of Front Desk Experience in a Spa, Wellness Center, or Salon setting
High School level or above
Must be PC proficient
Must possess basic math skills
Preference to those who are striving to achieve Yoga, Pilates, Trainer or Cosmetology Certificate, LMT and have a desire to be promoted into therapists or instructors role
Must be able to adhere to the COMO Shambhala Employee Standards
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, kneeling or crouching.
Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees; including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
